New EP: Mississippi Delta Dreaming, Part One: memphis
LIve At Horace's Bar
Milo Records New Orleans presents the third studio album by The Roamin' Jasmine, Live At Horace's Bar, recorded live at a locals-only New Orleans corner bar in Central City, by Grammy-winning, Beusoleil alumus, Al Tharp of CarryOn Productions. Horace’s is a frequent stop on uptown Second-Line routes and a stone’s throw from the stomping grounds of the Mardi Gras Indians. On the night of the recording, this tiny bar was packed full of old friends and unsuspecting bar patrons-turned new fans from the neighborhood, who unexpectedly happened upon the live show. Between the 6-piece band, microphones, recording equipment, and packed seating, there was just enough room for dancers.
Blues Shuffle Heart
The second studio album features the band’s stylistic diversity and includes five new original compositions that span a variety of moods from the dark and brooding minor key waltz of "I Can't Find A Reason" to the playful 1920's swing of "If Only I Was A Dog".
The Roamin' Jasmine
The first studio album recorded by the band in April 2014. Featuring lush arrangements of classic New Orleans jazz standards, original songs and some Caribbean Calypso from Trinidad.
